The safari will begin in Tanzania then move to Zanzibar holiday where you can enjoy some quality time with the loved ones as well as nature

Day 0:       Arrival at Arusha (optional)

On your arrival at the airport, you will met and be greeted by the safari guide or our Airport Representative who will then escort you to a waiting vehicle for a transfer to Arusha town where you will check in for dinner and overnight.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire national Park

Drive in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle and head to Tarangire National Park; around 2 hours away from Arusha town. You will arrive at the park by mid-morning and start straightaway with game viewing in the Park with picnic lunch being served. After Lunch, we proceed for game viewing in the national park, famous for its giant baobab trees, large herds of elephants, plain game and the predators. This park boasts a large variety of spectacular birdlife including; the endemic species. Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to your camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Explore Tarangire National Park

Have breakfast, you will embark on a 6 hour game drive with your picnic lunch that ranges far and wide. Again among the many aspects of animals, the guide will point out the way elephants have communicated with subtle interactions.  You will view many other animals including; zebras, monkeys, birds, warthogs and many more. Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to a lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

We will today travel from Tarangire national park to Lake Manyara National Park with a lunch box for the game drive at the Lake Manyara national park. At around 5:30 pm, we will drive back to your lodge for the overnight and dinner.

Day 4:  From Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Have breakfast and after travel by road from Lake Manyara towards Serengeti National Park (via Olduvai Gorge, if you wish where we will visit this Gorge as well as the Museum at extra cost), with another option being to visit the Masai Village along the way. Enjoy a game drive en route as well as on arrival at Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti where you will be spending the afternoon. Later in the late afternoon retire to a lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5:  Explore Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drive is possible this morning before breakfast. After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive with a choice of a hot lunch at the luxury camp or a picnic Lunch. You will view many animals including; the zebras, wildebeest, hippos, buffalo’s birds and many more. After the game drive, we will then drive back to the lodge /camp for an overnight stay in the park.

Day 6:  Drive to Ngorongoro crater

Have breakfast and after check out of the lodge / camp, and drive out of the Serengeti as you transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via the Malanja Depression. Arriving in midday you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater’s floor also referred us the ‘8th wonder of the world’ for a 6 hour game drive with picnic lunch served at the Crater floor. Late afternoon  we will proceed back up the Crater rim or head out to a lodge in Karatu just nearby where you will check in for a dinner and an overnight.

Day 7:  Transfer to Zanzibar

Have a leisurely breakfast at your lodge this morning and after travel by road to Arusha Airport for your transfer to Zanzibar. On your arrival at the airport in Zanzibar you will be met by one of Go Tanzania Safaris representative. This representative will  then transfer you in a private car to the beach for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – 10:  Enjoy leisure at Zanzibar Island Beach

On this day, you can engage in many activities that can be arranged from the resort in Zanzibar. Enjoy your beach leisure at the resort, or have a boat cruise at the Indian Ocean Island, snorkelling,  or scuba diving. (all extra activities at extra cost).

Day 11:  Take the tour of Spice Plantation and stone Town.

This day, we will drive to the Spice Plantation for a tour of these legendary spice plantation where you too will get a chance to sample and taste some of the exotic spices and fruits then after lunch transfer to Stone town for the tour of the historic town that has been declared as a UNESCO world heritage site. You may also visit some local markets and many gift shops in town for gift shopping.

Day 12: Transfer from the beach to Zanzibar Airport

.Have breakfast and check out from your room at 10:00am, you will say farewell to your Tanzania safari and Zanzibar beach vacation. The representative will pick you up from the resort and transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam international Airport for your connecting flight back home.
